The first time that I met Tristan, He was working in another gym as a trainer. I was reaching the 290 Ibs mark and I needed help. He set me up with a meal/workout plan and told me to trust him. The first month I lost 20 lbs the second month I lost another 20 lbs and the third month I lost another 20 Ibs. How you ask? he kept changing my meal and work out plan. In three months I went from 290 Ibs to 230lbs. Everyone was asking me how I did it and all I said was Tristan my trainer. Then Tristan left that gym and I didn't see any results with the other trainers anymore so I got discouraged and quit that gym after. I gained 50 lbs since. I made a personal decision in January that this was going to be the year that I was going to take the time to focus on myself and I am determined that this is my year to finally succeed with getting healthy! I decided to check out Caledon Fitness in early February and had my first meet and greet with Tristan where he took the time to explain how he works and what the key factors are for this journey from nutrition to ensuring you are working out at the right heart rate to cardio to strength training. I was hooked from that first meeting. During training Tristan is diligent in ensuring that you are doing every single move properly and that you are breathing the right way. You have his undivided attention as it is just the two of you in the gym. We do a weekly check in to track my progress and on that day I always get a little anxious, but every week since going I have seen a decrease and that comes down to following the guidelines Tristan has set for my nutrition goals as well as our workouts. So far I've lost 12lbs of body fat in just 1 and a half months! The science behind this is the most fascinating part and I learn something new each and every week. It is the most excited I have felt about training with someone and I can honestly say this is going to work!!! This time next year I am going to be the healthiest version of me and I can truly say that this is down to Tristan and his genuine caring and commitment to his clients.

My name is Anthony Di Vincenzo and I am a 52 year old elementary school teacher. I have been a member at Caledon Fitness since February 2023. I am also a twenty year type 2 diabetic. My diabetes has solely been controlled through medication. I am not insulin dependent but I am insulin deficient. Which means my body still produces insulin but my body needs a little help with medication to allow my body to use the insulin it creates. Another reason I wanted to get healthy again was because my clothes don't fit as nice as they used too anymore and I have a lot of nice clothes. I have always wanted to make a change but just didn't have a factor of accountability to stay on any fitness and diet plan. Tristan at Caledon Fitness has done just that. He designed a diet plan and a fitness plan to help me achieve incredible results. It's not easy but you have to do the work and with Tristan's help by keeping myself accountable with what I eat, and how I workout I have achieved some amazing results in a two month span. In that span I went from 28% body fat to just over 20%. A healthy body fat percentage is between 12% to 15%. And following this plan, I will likely get to that range within the next month. My visceral fat count went from 10 to 7. Anything below 7 means I am relatively healthy with little risk of medical issues. I went from 182 pounds to 170 pounds. I know this doesn't seem like a lot but what's most important here is that my overall body health has improved a great deal. This plan for me is not just about weight loss. This plan for me is about achieving overall health whereby I can stop taking my diabetes medications and have my body functioning as it should be functioning.
